Robert Hansen

In his role as Deputy CTO at Tenable, Robert "RSnake" Hansen is responsible for the External Attack Surface Management (EASM) and Web Application Scanning (WAS) products. Robert joined Tenable through the acquisition of Bit Discovery, where he served as CTO. As founder and CEO of SecTheory, his research and pen testing work led him to explore nearly every bit of web application security for many of the world’s largest organizations, including over 2,100 banks, credit card processors, flight control systems and supervisory control and data acquisitions (SCADA) systems. Robert started his career at eBay and he has also held roles at WhiteHat Security (now NTT), Cable & Wireless Plc America, ValueClick and Silicon Alchemy. In his spare time, Robert is a frequent keynote speaker and host of the podcast “The RSnake Show.”
