Getting started

Tenable certifications consist of a two-part exam; written and practical, that validates your ability to plan, deploy, verify and troubleshoot the platform. The exams are taken online in a proctored environment.

The written exam must first be completed before you are allowed to take the practical exam. Upon successful completion of both exams for a given product, the certification will be provided in electronic format.

While we do not require training to gain a certification, we would recommend a training path for certification success.
